Misty Memories of Shropshire
Misty Memories of Shropshire
Relive the Enigmatic Beauty of Shropshire in this Watercolour Landscape Painting
Introducing "Misty Memories of Shropshire" by Rik Barwick
Unearth the dramatic splendor of Shropshire through this limited edition Giclee print of my watercolour landscape. Inspired by a family hike under stormy skies, this landscape painting encapsulates the awe-striking mix of mist, clouds, and nature's contrasts—a vivid representation of the two-year journey from photo to painting.
I was walking in Shropshire on a mini-break with my family. We were trying to beat an approaching storm but we were all taken aback by the beauty of the landscape - the mist and sheets of and the darkness of the sky. I took the photo from this vantage point with the thought of one day doing something with it. 2 years passed since this trip and me starting to paint again and it was well worth the effort to relive our misty memories of Shropshire again.
