Celebrating the iconic historic buildings on the famous Angel Hill, Bury St Edmunds Suffolk

This is a collection of traditional lino prints of The Abbeygate, The Angel Hotel and The Athenaeum and was hand printed by myself from my home studio. I have packaged them up as a collection as they look great as a set.

They are normally priced at £25 each so this set offers a saving of £15 compared to when bought separately.

These are unframed, packed separately in a custom recyclable packaging box and can be shipped across the UK, the EU and America.

Thank you for viewing my work - please reach out if you have any questions.

FRAMING OPTIONS
Prints can be framed in either black or white wood frames which together with the white mount compliment the monochrome tone of the print.

The frames are glazed using shatterproof ultra-clear Perspex/ styrene sheet in place of glass. The Perspex/ styrene is just as clear as glass if not even clearer. This is extremely lightweight and safe especially for use in kid’s rooms, play areas, offices, club’s restaurants, cafes etc.

The smaller frames come with a stand at the back but also has the option to be hung from a central point. They look great on their own or as I prefer them as a set.

MEET THE ARTIST
Rik Barwick - Artist & Design proudly based on a hill in Hartest, Suffolk

When I was a kid the best part of any school project was the cover. I'd pour hours into cutting, sticking and experimenting with type. I didn't know it at the time but the weird passion I had as a kid was the early foundations for what would become part of my life's work.

I studied Graphic Design at West Suffolk College and then at The Surrey Institute of Art & Design (Now The UCA, Epsom). I fell in love in combining traditional design theory with modern practices.

Over lockdown I grew in confidence in calling myself an artist as well as a designer. I have started selling original work from my home studio in Hartest, Suffolk. There's something about the relief printing process that appeals to the weird kid in me again. Printmaking sits between design and fine art which is a great place to be. Every print is different and holds its own beauty so there's a real sense of anticipation every time I reveal a print from my press. It's very addictive!

Now I design brands, websites and everything in-between for clients of all shapes and sizes and I’m now on a mission to bring more art into my work.

I have been working as a designer for 20 years but I've been creative since I was 3 years old.
